About Never Fully Dressed

A feel-good, female founded fashion brand, offering multiwear styles in inclusive sizing UK 6-28, US 2-24 to celebrate and empower everybody.

Available globally and in our flagship London & New York stores.

    A brand powered by women, made for women.

    Community has always been at the heart of Never Fully Dressed. We value the customers voice in our brand, actively encouraging discussions and organising in-person events to take inspiration from their stories and needs.

    Our charity partnerships are a key part of our community engagement. Over the past years we have supported several charities through the sale of our Charity T-shirts raising over £60,000.

  • 2009

    Roman Road Market

    Founded by Lucy Aylen in 2009, Never Fully Dressed started as a market stall in East London where Lucy sold customised clothing creating the brands signature multi-wear designs.

  • 2012

    The Foundations

    By 2012, Lucy expanded her offering whilst launching the iconic Boob T-shirt supporting Mind charity.

    More than just a fashion brand. We’re a female-founded community that celebrate and empower everybody.

    Continuing to centre around community with charity support being key, Never Fully Dressed collaborates with Mind and Choose Love as ongoing partnerships.

    Never Fully Dressed has grown rapidly from brand collaborations, community events, and pop-ups earning recognition for inclusivity through feel-good dressing. Now 17 years on with increased retail presence and Drapers ‘Womenswear brand of the Year’ in 2024 we are excited for what’s next!

      From Lucy (CEO & Founder)
      My grandparents were seamstresses in the East End and my parents were market traders, so I was brought up on the shop floor. My grandad bought me a sewing machine to start making things that I sold at Portobello Road and Spitalfields markets and from there the word-of-mouth buzz grew and so did we.
